Palembang, hainews.id – PT PLN (Persero) memberikan edukasi eksternal keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) tentang manfaat dan bahaya listrik di rumah dan sekitar instalasi ketengalistrikan, Jumat (28/10/2022). Edukasi disampaikan Manager Bagian Pekerjaan Dalam Keadaaan Bertegangan (PDKB) PLN UPT Palembang, Rachmad Fajar dan Manager Bagian Keuangan dan Umum di PLN UPT Palembang Mila Permatasari melalui siaran radio dil lembaga penyiaran publik (RRI) Pro 1 Palembang.
Rachmad Fajar mengatakan PLN memiliki tanggungjawab untuk memberikan edukasi terkait manfaat listrik dan peduli terhadap potensi bahaya listrik.
“Selain memiliki banyak manfaat bagi kehidupan sehari-hari, listrik juga bisa berbahaya jika kita tidak bijak dalam menyikapinya.
Menurut dia manfaat listrik sangatlah banyak untuk kehidupan yang lebih baik. Sedangkan berjalan lurus dengan manfaatnya, listrik juga memiliki bahaya yang harus diwaspadai.
“Bermain layangan di dekat tiang listrik, atau membakar sampah di area jaringan listrik itu sangat berbahaya. Serta menjulurkan benda asing ke instalasi listrik, ini juga sangat berbahaya” ujarnya.
Ia juga mengimbau agar warga menghindari kawasan gardu listrik yang bertanda peringatan bahaya tegangan listrik.
“Kemudian, jauhkan pemasangan antena TV/parabola atau papan reklame dari jaringan listrik,” tambah dia
Pada siaran tersebut, Manager Bagian Pekerjaan Dalam Keadaaan Bertegangan PLN UPT Palembang juga mengajak masyarakat untuk menghindari bahaya-bahaya listrik untuk keselamatan diri sendiri, instalasi listrik dan lingkungan sekitar. (**)
