Jakarta, hainews.id – Anggota Subdit Harda Polda Metro Jaya berhasil mengamankan terduga pelaku kasus penipuan penggelapan tiket pesawat jemaah umrah berinisial RAP (27). Pelaku diamankan saat melarikan diri di Bali pada 10 November lalu.
Direktur Reserse Kriminal Umum Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Hengki Haryadi SIK MH mengatakan bahwa pihaknya telah menangkap tersangka RAP saat berada di Gate 4 Terminal Keberangkatan Domestik Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Denpasar, Bali. Terduga pelaku kemudian langsung dibawa ke Mapolda Metro Jaya untuk dilakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.

Bahkan, RAP telah memboyong 7 anggota keluarganya ke Bali sejak 27 Oktober 2022 lalu dan menyewa rumah untuk satu tahun ke depan seharga Rp45 juta.
Kasubdit Harda Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Petrus Silalahi, menjelaskan tersangka RAP ditangkap penyidik lantaran diduga telah melakukan penipuan sebesar Rp2,2 miliar. Uang itu diduga berasal dari korban untuk membeli 242 pax tiket pesawat bagi calon jemaah umrah.
“Saat ditangkap, polisi berhasil menyita barang bukti di antaranya berupa paspor dan buku rekening atas nama tersangka, 1 unit mobil Toyota Terios, 1 unit mobil Honda Mobilio, 1 unit sepeda motor PCX serta dokumen akta jual beli pembelian rumah di Sukatani, Kabupaten Bekasi” ungkap AKBP Petrus.
Setelah penangkapan di Bali, penyidik langsung melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap terduga RAP dan dilakukan penahanan pada Rutan Direktorat Tahti Polda Metro Jaya terhitung sejak tanggal 12 Desember 2022.
Selanjutnya Kasubdit Harda menjelaskan bahwa pihaknya telah menyelesaikan pemberkasan dan melimpahkan berkas perkara kepada Kejaksaan Tinggi DKI Jakarta pada 19 Desember 2022 lalu.
