PALEMBANG, hainews.id – Sekda Provinsi Sumsel Ir. S.A Supriono secara resmi mengukuhkan kepengurusan Forum Anak Provinsi Sumsel Tahun 2021-2023 di Auditorium Bina Praja Pemprov Sumsel, Jumat (19/8) pagi. Forum ini diharapkan dapat menjadi
media pemerintah mendengar dan memenuhi aspirasi anak-anak dalam proses pembangunan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM).
Dikatakan Sekda, anak-anak adalah pewaris dan penentu maju mundurnya negara dan bangsa Indonesia di masa depan. Di tangan mereka terletak masa depan bangsa dan negara.
“Masa kanak – kanak adalah masa yang tak pernah terulang, sehingga hak-hak anak, wajib untuk dipenuhi. Sekali hak-hak anak tidak terpenuhi, maka anak-anak dan kalian semua tidak akan pernah dapat menikmatinya selama hidup,” jelas Sekda.
Secara filosofis lanjut Sekda Supriono anak mempunyai hak untuk dapat hidup, tumbuh dan berkembang serta berpartisipasi secara wajar sesuai dengan harkat dan martabat kemanusiaan. Setiap anak berhak menyatakan dan didengar pendapatnya, menerima, mencari dan memberikan informasi sesuai dengan tingkat kecerdasan dan usianya demi pengembangan dirinya sesuai dengan nilai-nilai kesusilaan dan kepatutan yang dijamin oleh Undang-Undang.
Lebih jauh Sekda mengatakan saat ini salah satu dari 31 hak anak yang saat ini masih dalam proses perubahan menjadi 24 hak anak diharapkan dapat dipenuhi antara lain hak anak untuk berpartisipasi.
Partisipasi anak adalah keterlibatan anak dalam proses pengambilan keputusan dan menikmati perubahan yang berkenaan dengan hidup mereka, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, yang dilaksanakan dengan persetujuan dan kemauan semua anak berdasarkan kesadaran dan pemahaman sesuai dengan usia dan tingkat kematangan berfikir .
Kebijakan pemerintah di bidang partisipasi anak antara lain adalah pembentukan wadah-wadah partisipasi anak sebagai media untuk mendengarkan dan menyuarakan aspirasi, pendapat dan harapan anak sebagai bentuk partisipasi anak dalam proses pembangunan dalam pembentukan forum anak.
Forum Anak merupakan organisasi atau lembaga sosial yang digunakan sebagai wadah atau pranata partisipasi bagi anak yang belum berusia 18 tahun , dimana anggotanya merupakan perwakilan dari kelompok anak atau kelompok kegiatan anak yang dikelola oleh anak – anak dan perwakilan anak dari berbagai jenjang pendidikan formal yang dibina oleh pemerintah.
Forum Anak sebagai pelopor adalah anak-anak yang diharapkan mampu mengajak dan membantu lingkungan sekitarnya ke arah perubahan yang lebih berkemajuan.
Sementara itu Forum Anak sebagai pelapor dapat diartikan anak – anak aktif menyampaikan pendapat atau pandangan ketika mengalami , melihat atau merasakan tidak terpenuhinya hak dan perlindungan anak, sehingga Forum Anak dapat berperan sebagai agen perubahan dan generasi bangsa yang berkemajuan .
“Jadi anak-anak yang kita kukuhkan hari ini kita harap mereka menjadi pelopor dan pelapor. Sehingga mereka mampu menjadi agen perubahan,” terang Henny.
Forum Anak Provinsi ini jelasnya terdiri dari anak-anak hebat yang telah terpilih melalui seleksi yang cukup panjang yang terdiri dari berbagai jenjang pendidikan mulai dari tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama hingga Sekolah Menengah Atas dari berbagai Sekolah di Kabupaten / Kota di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan hingga akhirnya terpilih 40 Orang, tiga di antaranya dirangkul dari kalangan pelajar disabilitas.
Pengukuhan pengurus tersebut ditandai dengan pengalungan selempang kepada pengurus yang dilantik. (**)
