Jakarta, hainews.id – Menteri Kesehatan (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin mengatakan, tidak ada aturan yang mengatur tentang kegiatan masyarakat dari pandemi ke endemi. Menkes mengatakan, aturan pembatasan untuk masyarakat akan jauh berkurang.
Keputusan perubahan dari pandemi ke endemi masih menjadi wewenang dari Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO). Hingga kini, WHO masih belum mencabut status darurat kesehatan akibat pandemi Covid-19.
Di Indonesia, ia mengatakan, pencabutan Pemberlakukan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) adalah bagian dari transisi pandemi menuju endemi. Menkes menjelaskan, pemerintah akan mengurangi intervensi dan meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pencegahan secara bertahap.
“Flu kan sudah endemi, ngga ada intervensi pemerintah harus pakai payung ketika hujan, harus minum paracetamol ketika sakit. Atau demam berdarah ini juga endemi juga terus terjadi karena penularan virus ngga selesai dalam dua tahun,” kata dia.
Pemerintah, menurutnya, sudah tidak lagi mengatur kegiatan masyarakat. Pemerintah akan membangun dan meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat untuk pencegahan.
“Implementasi strategi pandemi jadi endemi kita kurangi secara bertahap intervensinya. Jadi tidak ada rencana mengganti aturannya, justru kita kurangi,” ucapnya.
Budi mengatakan, imunitas masyarakat kini sudah tinggi. Indonesia menurutnya sudah memiliki intervensi medis ketika ada masyarakat yang terjangkit Covid-19.
“Begitu imunitas tinggi, obatnya apa, vaksinasi sudah tahu. Kita lepas aturannya yang membatasi masyarakat,” pungkas dia.
