Curup, hainews.id – PLN UID S2JB terus menggiring pelaksanaan Program Light Up The Dream di 3 Provinsi yaitu Sumatera Selatan, Jambi, dan Bengkulu. Setelah Unit Layanan Manna, giliran Unit Layanan Curup yang melaksanakan penyalaan listrik, langsung oleh Management PLN UID S2JB.
Bertepatan dengan kunjungan siaga kelistrikan, Amris Adnan, General Manager PLN UID S2JB secara langsung hadir di rumah pelanggan.
“Program ini merupakan wujud empati para pegawai PLN kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan karena anggaran yang digunakan berasal dari dana yang dihimpun para pegawai PLN itu sendiri. Kami berusaha mengupayakan listrik berkeadilan untuk masyarakat dan komitmen customer focused kami dalam mengusahakan listrik agar dapat dirasakan semua kalangan” ungkap Amris.
Amris menuturkan bahwa penerima bantuan program Light Up The Dream ini adalah yang terdaftar pada Basis Data Terpadu Tim Nasional Percepatan Penanggulangan Kemiskinan (BDT TNP2K).
“Kita semua berharap agar program ini dapat berjalan secara continue dan juga tepat sasaran kepada yang benar-bena membutuhkan listrik gratis, yaitu yang terdaftar pada BDT TNP2K” terang Amris.
Rusinah, anak dari salah satu penerima bantuan yang tinggal di Desa Karang Jaya, Kabupaten Curup, mengaku bahwa sejak tahun 1935, ibunya belum menikmati listrik secara mandiri. Sebelumnya, ia menggunakan lampu teplok. Saat rumah tetangga sudah disambung listrik, ia menyambung listrik dari rumah tetangga. Ia mengucapkan terima kasih kepada PLN yang sudah peduli, karena selama ini rumah ibunya belum dapat bagian untuk mendapatkan bantuan pasang listrik gratis.
“Selama ini rumah ibu saya menyambung dari setangga, sebelum tetangga punya listrik, pakai lampu teplok. Terima kasih banyak PLN, sudah memberi kesempatan kami mendapat bantuan listrik. Selama ini ibu saya belum dapat bagian, alhamdulillah kali ini bisa disambung listrik. Semoga menjadi berkah untuk bapak-bapak PLN semua” ucap Rusinah haru dari belakang kursi roda ibunya. (**)
