Jakarta, hainews.id – Selama menjalani ibadah puasa Ramadhan, PT PLN (Persero) mengimbau masyarakat untuk selalu memperhatikan keamanan penggunaan listrik, guna mencegah korsleting dan kebakaran. PLN mencatat, selama Ramadhan terjadi perubahan pola pemakaian listrik di dua waktu.
Yakni sekitar jam 17.30 – 20.30 waktu setempat, karena adanya aktivitas persiapan dan berbuka puasa serta sholat tarawih. Begitu pula pada sekitar jam 03.30 – 04.30 ada sedikit kenaikan pemakaian listrik karena aktivitas persiapan dan makan sahur yang dilakukan masyarakat.
Direktur Utama PLN Darmawan Prasodjo mengingatkan masyarakat untuk tetap berhati-hati saat menggunakan listrik di waktu-waktu tersebut.
“Terutama setelah sahur, terkadang masih mengantuk, kita lupa mengecek kondisi listrik yang digunakan, untuk itu kami imbau untuk berhati-hati,” ungkap Darmawan.
Untuk memastikan keamanan dan kenyamanan, PLN memberikan tips penggunaan listrik selama menjalani ibadah puasa Ramadhan, di antaranya;
1. Segera cabut stop kontak alat elektronik apabila sudah tidak digunakan.
2. Pastikan alat elektronik serta jaringan dalam instalasi rumah seperti kabel dan fitting lampu memenuhi Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) dan Sertifikat Laik Operasi (SLO) yang bisa didapatkan dari hasil inspeksi oleh Lembaga Inspeksi Teknik terdaftar.
3. Gunakan listrik sesuai daya yang terpasang, tidak mengambil atau menyambung listrik dari tiang untuk menambah daya listrik di rumah. Hal ini sangat berbahaya karena bisa menyebabkan tersengat, beban listrik di sekitar rumah menjadi overload, sampai dengan kebakaran karena daya listrik yang masuk tidak terukur dan tidak sesuai dengan kapasitas kabel di rumah.
4. Khusus untuk pelanggan pasca bayar, dianjurkan bayar tagihan listrik di awal bulan atau sebelum tanggal 20 agar lebih nyaman.
5. Bagi pelanggan prabayar, diimbau untuk mengisi token listrik secukupnya dan siapkan cadangan bila diperlukan agar bisa dipakai sewaktu-waktu terutama saat token habis di waktu sahur.
6. Apabila daya listrik di rumah sudah tidak mencukupi, segera tambah daya secara resmi ke PLN.
“PLN juga memberikan promo tambah daya selama bulan Ramadan yang bisa dimanfaatkan masyarakat. Ada program Ramadan Berkah untuk rumah ibadah, juga Terangi Ramadan untuk rumah tangga,” lanjut Darmawan.
Untuk program Ramadhan Berkah 2023, hanya dengan Rp 150 ribu, rumah ibadah bisa menaikkan daya hingga 5.500 Volt Ampere (VA). Sementara bagi pelanggan tarif rumah tangga. Lewat promo bertajuk Terangi Ramadan 2023, pelanggan cukup membayar Rp 202.300 untuk tambah daya mulai dari 450 VA hingga ke 5.500 VA. (**)
