Jakarta, hainews.id – Persiapan mudik Lebaran 2023 sudah dapat Anda lakukan. Di antaranya adalah menyiapkan kendaraan, berikut tip menyiapkan kendaraan agar mudik berjalan lancar.
1. Panaskan mesin mobil secara teratur
Panaskan mobil sekitar lima menit saja setiap pagi. Hal ini bertujuan agar oli mesin bersirkulasi, melumasi semua komponen mesin, dan meminimalisir endapan kotoran.
2. Cek rem mobil
Cek rem kendaraan jangan sampai menempel. Mobil yang terparkir lama di garasi bisa menyebabkan kampas rem menempel erat ke permukaan cakram atau tromol.
Ketika muncul karat cukup banyak, ini bisa menyebabkan mobil tidak bisa bergerak. Lalu akan muncul suara berdecit yang lama-lama akan hilang seiring hilangnya karet di rem.
3. Cek tekanan angin ban
Tekanan angin di ban akan cenderung berkurang saat mobil diparkir lama di garasi. Salah satu dampak negatifnya adalah munculnya flat spot pada ban.
Flat spot pada ban ini adalah munculnya titik kontak permukaan ban dengan lantai garasi. Hal ini akibat tekanan konstan di satu titik yang kemudian membuat titik kontak tersebut jadi rata atau flat.
4. Cegah tikus masuk ruang mesin
Tidak hanya menjijikkan, tikus juga bisa menjadi masalah di mobil yang harus disingkirkan. Selain mengincar makanan di rumah dan membuat kotor, tikus juga bisa masuk ke ruang mesin mobil.
Jika dibiarkan, hal ini bisa menimbulkan bahaya. Pasalnya, tikus akan menggerogoti kabel-kabel di ruang mesin mobil yang diparkir di garasi.
5. Jaga kebersihan mobil
Mobil yang diparkir di garasi rumah biasanya akan berdebu dan kotor. Debu yang menempel di body mobil bisa menyebabkan munculnya baret halus di cat.
Bila mobil terparkir di luar rumah, mobil juga berisiko terkena getah pohon yang tertiup angin. Atau bisa juga terdapat kotoran tikus yang menyebabkan nodanya sulit dihilangkan. (**)
