Jakarta, hainews.id – Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Islam (Pendis) Kementerian Agama melalui program Realizing Education’s Promise- Madrasah Education Quality Reform (REP-MEQR) atau lebih dikenal Madrasah Reform menyelenggarakan Konsinyering Project Management Unit (PMU) bersama Provincial Coordinating Unit (PCU). Acara ini membahas terkait koordinasi dan penguatan program Madrasah Reform.
Hadir dalam dalam pembukaan, Ketua Umum PBNU KH. Yahya Cholil Staquf yang menyampaikan orasi ilmiah mengenai korelasi peradaban Islam terhadap masa depan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Menurutnya, ada dua jenis kesenjangan yang terjadi di dalam pendidikan Islam, yaitu kesenjangan paradigmatik dan kesenjangan teknologi.
“Ada dua jenis kesenjangan yang pertama adalah kesenjangan paradigmatik yakni kesenjangan terkait asumsi-asumsi dasar dari pendidikan itu sendiri. Dan yang kedua adalah kesenjangan teknologi, yaitu kesenjangan terkait instrumen-instrumen yang dipergunakan di dalam praktik pendidikan mulai dari model-model organisasi, model manajemen sampai dengan perawatan-perawatan teknis lainnya.” kata KH Yahya Cholil Staquf di Jakarta, Senin (03/04/2023).
Pria yang akrab disapa Gus Yahya ini melanjutkan bahwa kesenjangan paradigmatik dalam pendidikan tak terlepas dari peradaban tradisi kultural nusantara yang dipengaruhi oleh penetrasi pendidikan barat yang terjadi pada zaman penjajahan bangsa Eropa di Tanah air.
“Kesenjangan paradigmatik ini sangat kompleks, tapi ini kurang lebih bisa kita katakan merupakan akibat dari perubahan-perubahan berskala peradaban yang dialami oleh dunia akibat penetrasi barat dan mau tidak mau juga menimpa komunitas-komunitas muslim di Indonesia, seperti pembedaan perlakuan antara kaum priyayi dan pribumi,” terangnya.
Ketua Umum PBNU ini juga menjelaskan bahwa peradaban tradisional yang sudah terlanjur mapan tersebut berlanjut dalam penerapan kurikulum yang konteks dasarnya masih merujuk pada wawasan dari abad pertengahan.
“Semua itu membekas sedemikian rupa sehingga membuat kita gagap dalam menghadapi berbagai macam tuntutan masa kini karena bayang-bayang dari paradigma tradisional yang sudah begitu mapan,” lanjutnya.
“Saya melihat di dalam lembaga-lembaga pendidikan Islam, konten pendidikannya, kurikulumnya, bahan ajarnya, itu masih bahan ajar dari abad pertengahan, termasuk proses mengenai persepsi tentang kelompok-kelompok yang berbeda.” tambahnya.
Gus Yahya menilai, integrasi bangsa ini harus dipikirkan, utamanya tentang topik-topik yang relevan terhadap reformasi madrasah dalam menjawab fenomena masyarakat Indonesia yang heterogen.
“Saya berfikir bagaimana madrasah-madrasah ini bisa menerima murid dari agama lain, bagaimana caranya tapi yang jelas bahwa bangsa kita itu butuh satu strategi untuk memperkuat integrasi sosial dari masyarakat kita yang super heterogen ini harus kita pikirkan,” jelasnya.
“Sejauh mana kita mau melakukan akulturasi dalam soal ini. Jika sekarang anak-anak kita sejak kecil, sejak dini, sudah kita pisah-pisahkan berdasarkan identitas, kalau tua kok disuruh rukun, itu ya susah. Wong dari anak-anak sudah enggak bisa kumpul,” ujar dia.
Sementara itu Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Islam Kementerian Agama RI, Muhammad Ali Ramdhani berharap agar madrasah kedepannya mampu menjadi episentrum dari sebuah bangunan peradaban.
“Madrasah pada dasarnya adalah untuk mewujudkan janji dari konstitusi kita bahwa kita harus hadir mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa, tentu panggilan ini bukan sekedar-panggilan konstitusi tetapi panggilan yang memang lahir dari keinginan besar kita untuk menciptakan peradaban manusia yang lebih baik khususnya untuk komunitas bangsa Indonesia sehingga madrasah reform ini nantinya mampu menciptakan madrasah-madrasah yang menjadi episentrum dari sebuah bangunan peradaban,” pungkas Ramdhani.
