Jakarta, hainews.id – Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mencatat sejumlah momen yang memicu Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK) mengalami inflasi yang melesat naik pada 2022. Inflasi sepanjang tahun 2022 tercatat mencapai 5,51% (year-on-year/yoy).
Laju tahunan ini adalah inflasi tertinggi sejak 2014. Adapun, penyumbang inflasi tertinggi adalah harga transportasi dan makanan serta minuman.
Kepala Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Margo Yuwono memaparkan sejumlah peristiwa penting yang mempengaruhi inflasi pada 2022 ini. Menurut catatannya, ada enam peristiwa yang mempengaruhi laju inflasi di 2022. Pertama, kelangkaan minyak goreng pada Januari 2022.
“Januari, di sana ada kelangkaan minyak goreng karena kenaikan harga minyak goreng, akibat kebijakan satu harga minyak goreng,” ujarnya dalam konferensi pers, Senin (2/1/2023).
Kedua adalah kenaikan harga avtur pada April 2022. Kenaikan ini berimplikasi pada kenaikan tarif angkutan udara. Kemudian, ketiga yaitu momen Ramadan dan Idul Fitri pada Mei 2022 yang memicu kenaikan harga pangan.
Keempat, anomali cuaca yang menyebabkan gagal panen untuk tanaman holtikultura. Kelima adalah penyesuaian harga Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) jenis Pertalite sebesar 30,72%, solar naik 32,04% dan Pertamax yang naik 16%.
Terakhir, kata Margo, adalah momen libur sekolah yang mendorong sisi permintaan untuk pangan dan transportasi. Enam peristiwa ini yang turut mendorong inflasi pada tahun 2022
