Berikut Tips Berkendara Pada Malam Hari agar Tetap Aman dan Nyaman

Palembang, hainews.id – Para pemudik yang menggunakan kendaraan pribadi biasanya memilih waktu keberangkatan mudik pada malam hari. Untuk itu, pengendara wajib tahu tips berkendara yang tepat terutama saat malam hari.

Berikut tips berkendara pada malam hari yang aman dan nyaman:

1. Atur waktu tidur
Pemudik yang memilih berkendara pada malam hari sebaiknya mengatur waktu tidur. Sebelum berkendara diharuskan menghabiskan waktu siang hari untuk beristirahat yang cukup agar tidak mengantuk di jalan.

2. Atur kecepatan dan tingkatkan kewaspadaan
Jarak pandang yang berkurang akibat jalanan gelap mengharuskan pengendara meningkatkan kewaspadaan. Di antara lain, menjaga jarak aman dan mengantisipasi blind spot. Selain itu, pengendara harus mengatur kecepatan dengan bijak. Karena pada jam-jam tersebut banyak kendaraan meningkatkan kecepatan.

3. Cek dan bersihkan kaca lampu mobil
Sebelum berkendara malam hari, usahakan untuk membersihkan lampu mobil dari kotoran. Hal ini penting dilakukan agar cahaya lampu bisa terang dan berfungsi normal.

4. Bersihkan kaca depan
Selain membersihkan lampu, bagian lain yang harus dibersihkan adalah kaca depan. Jangan sampai keterbatasan pandangan diperparah dengan kaca mobil yang kotor atau penuh debu.

5. Cek kondisi karet wiper
Pastikan karet wiper masih dalam kondisi bagus. Alat ini untuk membersihkan air yang menutupi pandangan ketika hujan tiba. Hujan pada malam hari juga dapat mengganggu pandangan. Apabila jarak pandang semakin berkurang, ada baiknya menunggu sampai hujan sedikit lebih reda agar jarak pandang tidak terganggu.

6. Atur posisi spion
Spion adalah bagian dari komponen keselamatan untuk meminimalisasi blind spot dan pantulan sinar kendaraan di belakang mobil. Usahakan mengatur spion dalam posisi night view agar pantulan cahaya dari belakang tidak terlalu menyilaukan. (**)
