Jakarta, hainews.id – PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), anggota Grup MIND ID, kembali menerima penghargaan karena dinilai berkontribusi besar untuk penerimaan pajak. Dalam Tax Gathering Kantor Pelayanan Pajak (KPP) Wajib Pajak Besar Tiga yang digelar pada 14 Februari 2023, PTBA meraih 2 penghargaan, yaitu “Wajib Pajak dengan Kontributor Penerimaan Terbesar Tahun 2022” dan “Wajib Pajak dengan Pertumbuhan Pembayaran Tertinggi”.
Terkait penghargaan ini, Direktur Keuangan dan Manajemen Risiko PTBA Farida Thamrin mengatakan bahwa kontribusi PTBA pada penerimaan pajak merupakan perwujudan dari tujuan mulia (noble purpose) MIND ID, yaitu pertambangan untuk kemakmuran dan masa depan yang lebih baik.
“Dengan taat membayar pajak, PTBA turut serta berperan dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan membangun peradaban yang lebih baik untuk Indonesia. Kami berharap dapat terus hadir menjaga ketahanan energi nasional dan memberikan kontribusi yang optimal pada negara,” kata Farida Thamrin.
Turut hadir dalam Tax Gathering ini, antara lain Kepala KPP Wajib Pajak Besar Tiga Rosmauli, Kepala Kanwil DJP Wajib Pajak Besar Arif Yanuar, Asisten Deputi Bidang Industri Energi Minyak dan Gas Kementerian BUMN Abdi Mustakim, dan Staf Khusus Menteri Keuangan Bidang Komunikasi Strategis Yustinus Prastowo.
Asisten Deputi Bidang Industri Energi Minyak dan Gas Kementerian BUMN, Abdi Mustakim, mengatakan bahwa transformasi yang digencarkan Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir telah menghasilkan kinerja yang positif. Hal ini terlihat dari aset, ekuitas, pendapatan, dan laba bersih BUMN yang meningkat sangat signifikan pada 2022. Peningkatan kinerja itu berimbas pada pencapaian penerimaan pajak negara.
“Kami di Kementerian BUMN mendorong sekali kepatuhan pajak BUMN. Ini salah satu bentuk nyata bahwa BUMN itu memberikan kontribusi positif kepada negara dalam bentuk pajak,” ujarnya.
Pada kesempatan yang sama, Staf Khusus Menteri Keuangan Bidang Komunikasi Strategis Yustinus Prastowo menjelaskan, penerimaan pajak sangat penting untuk pemerataan kesejahteraan, pembangunan, dan penyediaan akses pendidikan hingga kesehatan gratis untuk masyarakat.
“Melalui pajak yang dibayar, kita melakukan pemerataan, menyediakan berbagai sarana prasarana publik untuk mengejar kemajuan. Pendidikan, kesehatan gratis, infrastruktur dapat disediakan agar kehidupan kita semakin baik,” tuturnya.
Dengan kepatuhan pajak yang semakin baik, ia berharap penerimaan pajak bisa semakin optimal sehingga target-target yang ditetapkan pemerintah dapat tercapai.
“Tahun 2023 kita ingin terus merawat optimisme sekaligus tetap waspada. Ekonomi ditargetkan tumbuh 5,3 persen. Tahun 2023 kita menargetkan pendapatan dari pajak Rp 1.718 triliun. Mudah-mudahan dengan upaya semua pihak, ini bisa tercapai,” tutupnya.
Sebelumnya pada 19 Januari 2023, PTBA menerima penghargaan “Telah Berkontribusi Atas Penerimaan Pajak Tahun 2022” dari Kantor Wilayah Direktorat Jenderal Pajak Sumatera Selatan dan Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (DJP Sumsel Babel). Penghargaan tersebut diberikan atas dasar beberapa aspek penilaian dari Kanwil DJP Sumsel Babel, yaitu pembayaran pajak terbesar dan tingkat kepatuhan terbaik. (**)
