Jakarta, hainews.id – Bali kembali mendapat penghargaan tingkat dunia dan kali ini situs perjalanan TripAdvisor melalui penghargaan tahunannya Travelers’ Choice Award for Destinations, telah menobatkan Pulau Dewata sebagai destinasi terpopuler kedua di dunia 2023 mengungguli London di posisi ketiga dan Paris di posisi kelima.

Merespons hal itu, Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif/Badan Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Pariwisata (Menparekraf/Kabaparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno saat The Weekly Brief With Sandi Uno, di Gedung Sapta Pesona, Jakarta, Selasa (24/1/2022) menjelaskan pihaknya mengapresiasi Pulau Dewata masih menjadi top of mind para wisatawan untuk berwisata.

“Bali naik dua peringkat, dari peringkat keempat pada tahun 2022 menjadi peringkat kedua pada tahun 2023 berhasil mengalahkan London di peringkat ketiga dan Paris di peringkat kelima, ujarnya.

Menparekraf Sandiaga juga menjelaskan, indikator penilaian Travelers’ Choice Award for Destinations berdasarkan pada kualitas dan kuantitas ulasan selama periode November 2021-Oktober 2022. Selain peringkat global, ada juga subkategori akomodasi, restoran, dan hal menarik lainnya yang bisa dilakukan di tempat wisata.

“Tugas Bali, bisa menjadi pengumpan bagi 5 DSP lainnya. Ini merupakan prestasi yang patut kita syukuri. Kita berharap ke depannya berkembang destinasi lain di Indonesia selain Bali,” ujarnya.

Selain itu Menparekraf juga mengatakan, destinasi selain Pulau Dewata dapat masuk list sebagai destinasi terpopuler untuk berlibur pilihan wisatawan.

“Bahkan, kita berharap destinasi di Indonesia dapat meraih urutan pertama sebagai destinasi populer dunia di tahun-tahun selanjutnya,” ujarnya.

Turut hadir dalam kesempatan tersebut seluruh jajaran eselon I dan II di lingkungan Kemenparekraf.
